WineBrix
is different because it is a program in which the
information from each issue builds upon the previous
issue. If you choose to keep each issue’s
material in a binder (recommended), eventually you
will have a wine reference book.

In the
first issue, you get to learn about a dry Riesling and
a sweet Riesling. You also get to read about the
difference between sweet and dry. The two Rieslings
serve as controls, so you can experience how two
wines of the
same grape varietal are different.
Each
Issue explores a new wine topic. Sample topics include:
- A little skin versus a lot
- One vintage versus another vintage
- Warm climate versus cool climate
- Malolactic fermentation versus no malolactic
fermentation
